Gorham high school is a great community school. I am a parent to three children, 2 of which are currently enrolled in the school, The teachers are wonderful and very passionate about helping the students. I feel that all the staff I’ve encountered have been approachable and accommodating. I do wish there were additional choices for students seeking high education in the area of mathematics. Unfortunately this year, advanced physics had to be cancelled due to lack of a teacher for the class. My son was quite disappointed. They were offered to take the course at a neighboring High school but could not offer transportation.
Gorham High is also competitive in most sports. Parent and community involvement is above average.
Overall, I highly recommend Gorham High School.
Gorham High School was a very nice school to transfer to as a sophomore, everyone welcomed me with kindness and there were no "cliques" or "posies" what I liked most about this school is how much teachers care about the students if they saw they weren't talking as much as usual or weren't doing their schoolwork when they normally did they spoke up and asked whats wrong. One thing they could change is the diversity the school is mainly white and by having more of a diverse school is would help the city learn more about different cultures. Its not the schools problem of how its not diverse its the City.
