My overall experience with Goose Creek High has been pleasant so far. In my opinion, this high school is one of the most valid schools in an academic and athletic approach. I highly applaud this school. This school is quite diverse in many ways. The clubs and activities this school provides are astounding. Although there are specific elements this school could progress on: such as their lunches and graduation cords. Several elective classes such as Spanish should have graduation cords if you complete all the given Spanish courses. So far this school has 3 Spanish courses, but they are petitioning for a fourth. I believe that if students made it this far, they deserve a graduation cord. Besides those minor concerns, this school is still a surpassing school, I highly recommend it for rising high schoolers and transfer students.

This school is in the mostly average scale of public schools. It focuses a lot on the athletic aspects, but has an outstanding arts program called Berkeley Center for the Arts that many students are proud to be a part of. Some teachers are just outright bad, but there are a lot that are not only good at their jobs, but genuinely care for their students’ wellbeing. There is also a huge contrast between the students, some being below average and some being exceptional. Overall, I’ve had a good high school experience.
The school is average. The school encourages struggling students to succeed. It engages students in activities and clubs. The teachers can be good or bad, not all are the same. Safety is average, we partake in drills every month and we put them into practice whenever there is an emergency. It can get very disorganized at times and it needs improving. It carries out decent education and programs but one has to reach out to get it. Overall, I had good and bad times in this school. One recommendation for someone attending there is that you should partake and engage in activities and keep your eyes open for anything important, the school is not the kind to reach out to its students so it is up to you to reach for what is important.
