The high school is very small, which means there aren't a ton of different types of opportunities for clubs. It is made up for by the fact that anybody and everybody has the opportunity to play on the sports teams or be very involved. There are no tryouts, anybody who wants to join, can. Half of the entire high school was involved in "Forensics" which is a speech competition in Wisconsin. Even though there aren't a lot of students, the teams are still competitive, and in my four years, all the teams I played on had winning records. Also, I was able to be team captain in three sports, all-conference in 3 sports, and be president of a couple clubs.
Once again, although my school is small we are commonly known for our sport success within our conference. Our girls basketball, boys basketball, and cross country runners are very athletic and have lead or school to many conference titles.
A cafeteria is nonexistent in my high school, so every day, students walk down to lunch at the grade school. It is about a fifteen minute walk down and is a great way to get fresh air instead of being trapped in a class room. When the weather is poor, the school arranges for a bus to transport the students down.
Gym class can sometimes feel like the Olympics at my school. Students get very competitive, and our physical education teacher expects great effort and participation from all of his students.
I feel these qualities make our school a school of great physical fitness.

For a school of this size, our athletic programs are far beyond what they would be expected to be. Having a girls basketball and volleyball team make it to the sectional finals is an outstanding accomplishment. Students are encouraged to participate in such events. If athletics are not within their likings, they can always participate in physical education classes.
