I like the environment and atmosphere around GHS a lot! It does have some downsides. The shape or condition of some rooms are inadequate for hospitality. There is a trash problem on campus. GHS doesn't have too many openings for sports for freshman that weren't notified during the summer., this making us wait until sophomore year to properly engage (specifically females). This makes some things heavily unfair also. The dress code is enforced on female students more than males which is biased but I understand the concept. Overall the school is generally great, still having areas which lack composure yet they are tiny mistakes that can be fixed.

Goldsboro High School is a great school, unfortunately some people make it seems bad based on how they talk about it. I have been to GHS since my freshman and now I’m a senior, it has been a great 3 years I’m really honored to have spent them there. The students are academically successful, friendly, and we help one another. The teachers are marvelous, they will go over every single details and making sure that you understand the concept in its full content.
I like that Goldsboro High School cared about it's reputation and wanted everyone to know that they were a good school and were trying to change the narrative one step at a time. I would change some of the mindsets of the students that go to Goldsboro because they think that they have to act a certain way because of people's expectations on how the students act. I would also change the fact that the school isn't the safest and that we need more security. The school is too open to the public and it's easy to come and go when you want without anyone realizing it.
