Overall, I think Goldie Maple is a decent school. There is not much diversity which is partly due to demographics. The academic curriculum is great and so are the teachers. Arts programs and enrichment/extracurricular activities are non-existent which causes the students to have less opportunity to be well-rounded. Those that are tend to be ostracized and penalized. The administration leaves a lot to be desired in terms of consistency and interpersonal skills, though. The Principal seems to be all about test scores and the appearance of professionalism/pioneering and less about her students and their needs. She has a tendency to be a "strict" disciplinarian in some cases and lax in others and loves to crack the suspension whip (but has a horrible reputation when it comes to following the guidelines). Yet, there many underlying issues that are ignored and unresolved. Step it up!

There were very few extracurricular activities and the Principal has since done away with many of them without notice or explanation.
What I expected from this school is very different from what is currently occurring. The Principal and her involvement (or lack thereof) is the major issue and needs to be corrected.
