Golden Plains High School, has a very friendly environment, its almost cozy when you walking to the door. Everyone greets you saying 'hello'. It makes you feel at home. The school is an established facility making it easy to get into the classroom, and get started on learning. I would like to see, perhaps see the internet qualities improve but given its location it would seem difficult.

I like Golden Plains High School because it is small, you know just about everyone, and you have more interaction with your teachers if you need more help with homework. It the only school I have been to since I was little and I wouldn't want anything to change
From the outside looking in, itty bitty Rexford, Kansas wouldn't be my first preference as a school for my child. However, growing up in this area I have learned that good things come in small packages. Attending this tiny school for 13 years has taught me life lessons that I could never experience at a large school. These life lessons include: how to stretch a dollar and make it count, how to succeed and fail humbly, and how to relate to a diverse group of people. I wouldn't trade my teachers, coaches, or peers in this district for any other. Our desolate schoolhouse is the home of a large family unit that is irreplaceable and indescribable.
