Godinez Fundamental High School is overall a warm connected place that makes you feel at home. After school, Grizzly alumni roam the campus as some form part of an extracurricular activity, attend tutoring or help handout snack to athletes. Furthermore, the school is also full of supportive teachers who push you out of your comfort zone and encourage you academically. Not to mention, the teachers never embarrass their students for having different backgrounds, origins or being of a different race. Something to love about Godinez is that they are never afraid to demonstrate who they are. Their spirit weeks constitute of empowering women, becoming aware and showing support for breast cancer awareness and other illnesses. Also, students around campus display their heritage in beautiful, colorful dresses, earings, shoes and hair-do's. However, the school needs to improve on being more clean with their restrooms because at times there is never enough toilet paper, soap or paper towels.

Godinez Fundamental high school prepared me for my future in animal science. My school counselor and my higher education coordinator informed me about college applications, AP test and classes, Scholarship opportunities, FAFSA. I believe that the expanded my knowledge of higher education. At Godinez I had the opportunity to complete AP courses that prepared me for college courses. I am thankful to have attended Godinez because of all the services they have provided me with, I feel confident that I am well prepared to start my journey next year at the college level. There is nothing I would change about Godinez, the staff truly care for the students and are dedicated to expand our minds, to aim high for higher education.
Where do I begin! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Godinez. I feel my high school years have been extremely memorable. High school has opened the door, into the rest of my life. I've enjoyed school spirit, clubs, activities, football games, and the list goes on. Teachers, Staff, and students have made my high school experience so pleasant. My words are not enough to express how thankful I am to everyone for their support and guidance. I would honestly not change anything about my highschool. It's been a great experience so far.
