Go Like the Wind Montessori School Reviews

3 reviews
I came to Go Like the Wind when I was in first grade from another Montessori school, and finished the program through eighth grade. My time spent there was very rewarding and gave me skill sets that I use now and will into my future. I was able to grow as an individual while making very close relationships with my classmates. Even though there was a lot of work, I was able to build necessary time management skills needed no matter where I go in life. In upper elementary and middle school I learned to work closely with a group, sometimes it would be a good group and other times, it would be difficult to get the project done. My mom informed me that dealing with those situations is no different than what she deals with at her work. I feel that I was blessed to attend Go Like the Wind, I had the best learning experience and the greatest teachers!

For me Go Like the Wind was very hit or miss. Sometimes you would have phenomenal teachers and a great experience or you would have teachers who clearly were not qualified to teach their subject or did not know how to interact with students. I did learn and gained many valuable skills, but my transition to high school was quite difficult because the format was so different, ie little to no homework, no changing classes, no sports and very few clubs.
This school is a mess right now. The overall quality dropped so much since they moved to Whitemore Lakes
