I love Glenwood High School. It's such a small school that students are given the opportunity to interact one on one with the teachers allowing them to get the help they need. Every Friday students have in Tiger Time, where they are put into groups with students grades 7-12 and participate in activities for a chance to win a group price at the end of the year. Also, one of my favorite events Glenwood does that makes it unique is the Competition Pep Rally held before Christmas break. Grades go up against each other in events such as: Hickie's Hamburger Eating Contest, Bag Relay, Tug of War, etc. It's so much fun and it's a time when students who lack school spirit really step up to show some for their grade!

I do not really like Glenwood Highschool due to the disrespectful teachers and staff. They lack college readiness and are very discriminating. Very few teachers care about the good health of their students. The guidance is very poor their as well and most of our seniors have to figure things out on their own. The students are nice but the cleanliness is poor and staff members are very rude. The only thing actually good about Glenwood highschool is sports but the coaches are unfair and favoritism is very common. There are not enough school activities or clubs and their needs to be more fundraising.
Bullying happens very often. A lot of the time the bully won't get in trouble, the bullied will if they stand up for themselves. However, I never feel unsafe at this school. Students are given key cards to access the doors they are allowed to enter. The school nurse is average, they aren't really allowed to help with any problems so it's best not to even go.
