Glendale High School is a phenomenal school that any student would love to attend. The teachers are exceptional, they truly care about the student’s education. The school has many events that bring everyone together and allows students to show off their school sprit. The entire staff of the school does their best to ensure the safety and well being of everyone and it truly shows off. The school has all the resources that students need to receive a proper education. I would recommend Glendale High School to anyone and without a doubt, they will be happy to have become a Nitro!

Glendale High School doesn’t have an outstanding reputation. However, within the past five or six years it has practically transformed from one of the worst in GUSD to what I would consider to be an amazing school. There are some truly fabulous teachers, and several classes and extracurriculars are offered. My sole complaint would be the reliability of counselors. While there a few remarkable ones, I have personally dealt with some issues regarding my schedule and a general lack of aid. Additionally, I believe the closure of bathrooms, while intended to combat smoking, is ineffective and just impractical. However, these are small complaints in comparison to the incredible experience I’ve had with my school. Frankly it has become a safe zone for me, and even though it’s not always fun, most teachers are truly caring and the staff is helpful.
Glendale High was an awesome experience for all my four years in high school. It especially found my imagination peak in the cinema program and also found my athletic side of soccer and experimented with the game of lacrosse. Lacrosse and Cinema became places to call home. The teachers, classmates, coaches, and players were like family because both had the same goal, to push themselves and become something greater than themselves. Which later led to me sign up with the police explorers. Our school resource officer got me into law enforcement by signing up for a teen academy. Which later led to me signing up for the police explorers. Glendale High opened doors for me to experience and have fun memories of a lifetime. The next step is college, which I hope will open more opportunities.
