I loved my time at Glenbrook South High School. This school is dedicated to making everyone feel welcome and helping them find their place. From the first day of freshman orientation, you are told over and over again that joining clubs and other school-wide activities is the thing to do! The academics are fantastic and prepare any student for the next step after high school. The spirit and pride of being a Titan is an exciting part as well! The home games and sprit weeks are some of the most fun I had in high school. GBS's support of the arts is something to admire as well. From advertising musicals and talent shows to school-wide previews for both of these events. In my opinion, there is no better high school in the Northshore.

Glenbrook South High School is an absolutely fantastic institution. At GBS there are countless opportunities to get involved and discover who you are. I highly encourage anyone to take advantage of the opportunities presented to you because they won't last forever! The teachers are all great instructors as well as real people who care about you as a person. I've formed many relationships with teachers here and have the pleasure of calling some of them my friends.
Very good at preparing students to be successful in college. Various levels of classes ensure that students are placed in the adequate learning environment. Not only are academics strong and important, but clubs are organizations are central to the experience. There is a place for everyone to excel in what he/she is interested in. There are opportunities for extra help and tutoring, and resources are very accessible. My experience was very positive and I felt that, upon going to college and talking to my fellow studets, Glenbrook South did a very good job at preparing me for the work load and experiences that were presented to me. There is a certain level of diversity at this school, and since I graduated a few years ago I believe that my assessment may not be reliable as I feel that the community has changed since my time there.
