I really enjoyed my experience at Glenbrook South High School. I had a lot of teachers who were very supportive. If I needed help with anything, they were always willing to help me and provide resources if they didn't know the answers themselves. There were so many different types of activities that you could join and if there isn't something that you see, you can create it yourself! During my Senior year, I did a Senior Project which helped me start to figure out what career path I would like to pursue. It was a very nice way to get hands on experience to see what it is really like. Everyone there is so supportive. I felt safe for the most part at school. They are working on how to make everyone feel safe and welcomed. One way they are doing that is implementing gender neutral bathrooms which I think is a great step. I had such an amazing experience at Glenbrook South and the community and people make it so great.

I loved my time at Glenbrook South High School. This school is dedicated to making everyone feel welcome and helping them find their place. From the first day of freshman orientation, you are told over and over again that joining clubs and other school-wide activities is the thing to do! The academics are fantastic and prepare any student for the next step after high school. The spirit and pride of being a Titan is an exciting part as well! The home games and sprit weeks are some of the most fun I had in high school. GBS's support of the arts is something to admire as well. From advertising musicals and talent shows to school-wide previews for both of these events. In my opinion, there is no better high school in the Northshore.
Glenbrook South was a great school with a positive learning environment. The teachers pushed the students to do their best and encouraged students to bring out their potential. Glenbrook South allowed for me to grow and make long lasting relationships throughout my four years of attending the high school. There are many extracurriculars, so there is something for everyone. There were many successful sports teams, multiple service clubs, and overall wide variety of clubs in general. Although the diversity wasn't as high as other high schools, Glnebrook South implemented an inclusive atmosphere through assemblies like the talent show. The talent portrayed the multiple cultures within the school such as Desi club had a dance group called 'Bhangra Beats' and a latino dance group called 'Latino Heat'
