Great learning oppurunities and staff! Most teachers are genuinely passionate about what they're teaching and care a ton about their students. The social workers have also been good in my experiences. There's lots of activities so you're almost destined to find one that fits your forte. With positives though, there are negatives. The administration itself has made a lot of confusing and, for lack of a better word, sketchy decisions. Nothing that completely derails your learning experience, but you can't help but be incredibly frustrated by it. Of course administrations are always subject to change, but I am far from a fan of the current administration. School culture and spirit has completely died over the course of my attendance. As a graduate I really do hope that the administration gets their crap together and really make the school more of a community rather then just a place of education.

My experience at Glenbrook South High School was extremely memorable and meaningful for these past four years! I made a few close-knit friends and became interested in both academics and extra-curricular, especially with clubs. Most of my teachers were invested and interested in the classes they taught and their students as well. Thank you, GBS for a great time.
Glenbrook South has so many different clubs and activities to offer its students, however I wish they did a better job of trying to get every student involved. High school is what you make of it and they have so much to offer. They also have the Titan learning center which provides tutors for students to help them with some of their classes. Personally, I had an okay experience at Glenbrook South, I was a very anxious kid and I felt like the atmosphere at Glenbrook South wasn’t as supportive as I needed it to be. But there are a lot of adults at GBS that really care about their students!
