I think south is very focused on academics and sports, especially when it comes to the promotion of these expectations and activities.
This is absolutely not necessarily a negative thing, in fact it's a good thing. However, when it comes to the music, theatre, and the fine arts departments, it seems like south doesn't tend to acknowledge the importance of these creative and expressive outlets. The different art department events are typically underpromoted and seen as less significant by administration and sometimes faculty. I would love to see more promotion of the arts in the future!

Glenbard South is the perfect high school for those looking for a smaller school population combined with outstanding academic instruction. In addition, there is a high level of school pride amongst students. School activities are always enjoyable and always encouraged. Glenbard South is definitely a solid place to not only make lifelong memories but to help prepare students for life after high school!
One of the things that immediately stood out about this school was its openness! Everyone at this school, including both students and staff, are all so kind and have such serving hearts! As for academics, I've loved most of my teachers these past years, and the only thing I was disappointed by was the lack of variety in academic courses due the smallness of the school. However, by overall high school experience couldn't have been better! GO RAIDERS!
