Glenbard North isn't a bad school but it isn't great either. Growing up in the area, I kept a lot of my friends from elementary school and made new ones too. The school has A LOT of diversity and it usually makes the classes fun. Speaking of which, the teachers at the school are great! Some of them can be terrible, but many of them sympathize with students if the students do their work. At the school, most of us are lazy because we think the school has gotten "lazy" in academics. They think the more AP classes someone takes, that'll be better for the school. Really, we don't have a smart school where they make EVERY student the best they can be. But the school does a GREAT job of trying to cater to each student. OF course GBN may look and feel like a prison, but honestly, it isn't that bad. All you have to do is stay optimistic and get through it.

Glenbard North was and is still a pretty decent high school. Living in an area where students were split between two high schools, I knew some people going in to GBN. However, I did meet lots of new people, and the faculty and staff are amazing as well! The AP classes were challenging and helped a lot for my college career. I would go back and repeat my experience over again!
what i like about glenbard north is the diversity of the people that go there and the willingness for teachers to go out of their way to help their students succeed. Glenbard North is a stepping stone to college and in my opinion they have done fairly well to help their students transition to go to college. One thing i would change about my high school is most definitely the food! Its not very good, and it is not good for our bodies. I would prefer something more healthier.
