Glasgow high school is the worst highschool in Delaware. And there no competition like theirs some great teachers and people but if we being honest it's trash. Sports trash, school spirit trash, some of the people of the school trash, like it just keeps going and going it's just trash.
So far my experience at Glasgow has been great it’s definitely not what most kids here make it out to be.I have had a great time here and I’ve learned so much in the time being.I have amazing teachers and they’ve helped me out a lot during school and made sure I’ve gotten what I need. I never felt unsafe there nor have I been bullied.I can say the kids could are bringing the school down and need more discipline. A vast majority of the children complain of how horribly Glasgow is and the teachers can’t teach but they don’t put any effort towards anything to try and learn. Glasgow isn’t a star school but it’s better than most schools I could’ve went to.
Due to the pop up of charter schools the class volume has diminished and teachers are understaffed. Overall, they have a very caring environment and great student- teacher relationships.
The teachers here are very kind and willing to help students to overcome their weaknesses as well as identify and highlight their strengths.
Glasgow High School is a school where the teachers care so much about your academic life and even your private life if you're facing any challenges, a school where you are their number one priority and they ensure you have what you need in order to be successful despite all the challenges. My experience at Glasgow High School has been very good so far, there are many activities to do academically/physically, I have been thought various things about life; how to be successful, start a business help others as well as myself, e.t.c. As everyone knows, there are also the not so good side when there is a good side, some includes not enough equipment to really help us understand better and they do not exactly prepare us for college (my thought), i think that the school needs to push the students to the best they can and at least make us feel what college is really like then it will become an excellent school. To sum it up, it has been wonderful staying at Glasgow High School.
Glasgow was a great school with plenty of educational extracurricular activities and teachers that really put in an extreme amount of effort in ensuring the success of the entire student body. I am very appreciative of my time at Glasgow and learned so many life lesson that I will carry on with me into adulthood. Without Glasgow I would never been introduce to Track and Field ultimately leading me to get my athletic scholarship in college, or the opportunity y to take dual enrollment classes and getting a head start on my college eduction. Glasgow sets you up for numerous opportunities to reach the success you are looking for with an amazing support system and staff to ensure you stay on that path. Thank you Glasgow High School for all you do for the community!
Glasgow High School is overall a good school but it could use some improvements. Most of the staff is fun and students enjoy seeing them everyday. Everything is diverse, the teachers and administration are like your friends, they are up to date on the average teenage slang and like to joke around a lot like their one of us. They could use some improvements on the presentation of the school, some things need to be fixed. It’s all about the students attending that makes everything so great. All the kids have their own unique goofiness that makes the school great.
Glasgow was a great place for me. I had the opportunities to participate in drama club, student government, and I managed for the boys basketball team. My teachers were great and helped me get ready for college.
I enjoyed my years at Glasgow. All 3 of my years there, I had some wonderful teachers, and the staff is enjoyable. The school has definitely changed over the years, but I wouldn't say it is a bad thing. I say the highlight of Glasgow is what they do after school or outside of school such as the sports and clubs, and community service they provide and join in. :) I was very saddend that my senior year got cut short due to the pandemic, but I still had a great time while I was there
I love Glasgow High School and one of my is the respect and love the teacher have for you. The second one is the sports coach are very easy going and very nice. I have the please to know three of then the track, volleyball, and soccer coaches and my most funniest and memorable memories are build during their practices and games. Glasgow High School provide and help all their students so they can become better as a person and be ready for the future.
The school is okay there should be more clubs/activities instead of focused on sports and teams barely win. The food should be healthy but good as well not tasteless or something students would not want to question.
I like how the teachers where so invested in you going on to further your education. I would like to see more tutors for new students and for old students and chances to prep for SATS
The facilities were horrible, and there were no auxiliary learning materials. You could not check out books in the library, and there were fights every week.
I had transferred during my last year of high school. Most classes I wasn’t being taught anything and we were allowed to do what we wanted instead. I think some of the teachers had just given up and didn’t care anymore. There were only a few teachers left that actually taught people something and enjoyed doing so. I believe much more could be done with this school. I feel bad for anyone that went there for all four years due to the fact that they probably didn’t learn anything that would help them with their future. I am thankful for the few teachers that were still helping students with their aspirations.
Glasgow was a really great school but as many other schools, it has it’s flaws. The academics is not the best but it’s also not the worse. The school is really improving though and it’s a place where you can create a family that’ll have your back when it comes to the athletics.
As a parent...keep your kids away... terrible behavior among students and staff. Incompetent staff..unsafe environment. School and staff are a Complete waste of tax dollars
I went to Glasgow during my Freshman year of highschool and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The classes were alright but the environment is terrible as there are constant fights and drug problems that occur in the school. Classes would always be rowdy and disordered with student blasting music, using their phones, and even picking fights with teachers. Overall this Highschool is one of the worst in the state.
