The school itself is a very nice academic environment, with teachers that, for the most part, care about their students. The students however, are pretty cliquey and exclusive. The school offers many clubs and sports for students to get involved in!
Overall Girard High School is a great place to go to high school! The past four years have really been something that I have enjoyed from the extracurricular activities to all the new friends I have made. This school is very involved with sports and school spirit especially on Fridays will get the school ready for big football games! There are many school clubs and activities to choose from. There are also many great teachers that are willing to go the extra mile and help you out on your work. The past four years of high school have definitely been some of my favorite years!
I enjoyed the teachers and smaller class sizes, but I had some problems that weren't properly addressed by faculty members.
