GAMP has introduced me to so many new things and has been patient while teaching them. Although I have had some mishaps with the ways teachers were treating me, the current principal was on it when I told her what was going on. Our principal Ms. Moore is very present within our community and encourages us to discuss things we can fix within our community frequently. We do this through town halls, where we usually talk about how we can be better to our peers, and pep rallies, where we have fun with all our peers inside the gym. Lastly, GAMP was helpful with the high school selection process and helped you with everything you needed. Since we are such a small school we are a very tight-knit community but are always welcome to invite new people in!
GAMP is an amazing place to learn and grow as a student. It is a very small school with around 600 students for grades 5-12 but it can be a very strong community. The music program here is great with lots of opportunities to showcase all kinds of talent. The academics here are very good with lots of good teachers especially in the high school who are willing to work with you and be your biggest advocate. A downside I would consider is that there aren’t a wide array of AP classes to take. And the ones offered are very selective. But otherwise Academic are great. The building itself is amazing with half of it being somewhat newly renovated and the old building being pretty clean with air conditioning in every room. Overall, a great school!
GAMP offers it all! A top notch education, music and sports. I play the saxophone, run cross country and play basketball for the school. I have to keep my grades up so I can participate in the activities the school offers. I also am on the yearbook committee and stage crew for the school play. I have been the MC for the school's talent show twice and am in concert choir.
