Gill has been a wonderful experience for our children! The teachers are top notch. They challenge the students but also provide support when it is needed. The campus is beautiful and creates many chances for hands-on learning. The community of staff, faculty and families is warm and welcoming. Sports, music, theater, clubs and activities play a big role in the life of the school. GSB emphasizes balance and encourages students to take risks by trying new experiences. Most importantly, children are exposed to character development through community service, role modeling by adults and day-to-day interactions. I can't imagine a better place for my children to learn and grow.

Good teachers and students. Questionable and corrupt faculty. Classes are easy but prepare u very well for college, thus it provides a good work to life ratio that you can use your whole life. Very welcoming and friendly compared to other highschools. U can make a lot of friends here and feel safe, party scene is very fun and controlled relative to other schools, however can be a bit cliquey. A lot of independence is given which really helps develop people. Oh and amazing food that can cure any bad day!
Gill St. Bernard's is an excellent college preparatory school that is academically challenging, but also supportive. The classes are taught using the Harkness Method, which encourages students to actively participate in class discussions. The small class sizes allow for personalized attention to every student. The facilities are also top notch, and the high school campus resembles a college campus. Since class sizes are small, the school offers an intimate learning environment that feels like everyone is part of a caring community. A drawback, though, is that this school could be more diverse. There are many legacies among the students, which is comparable to the situation at other private schools. Overall, however, Gill St. Bernard's is a school with a strong alumni network that offers a lifelong, profound connection to the community.
