GHS is great school and I loved the small community. With small class size I was able to connect with my peers and teachers. I would not have the academic success I do without the great teachers that are there. Also, i played volleyball while I was there and all my teachers really helped me knowing I was a student athlete which meant a lot. Every adult or student is excited to meet new people and help out in any way. It is so reassuring to be able to ask anyone for help. I have always felt safe at my school which is so important at this day in age. I really respect the administrators because they are always looking for a way to improve our school and help students as well as teachers. My High school experience at GHS has been one I won't forget.

The teachers and administrators of GHS are incredibly dedicated to ensuring that each and every student achieves success within both their educational and personal lives. The importance of an education is enforced not only by the staff, but by the overall atmosphere of the school and community as well.
I graduated from Gilbert just last year (2016) and it was a great school. It is totally different when you're a student just wanting to get out and an alumni who has actually come to feel proud of their high school. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely still pick Gilbert due to the tremendous help and encouragement that is fluent there. I ended up at Clemson studying Agricultural Education thanks to my wonderful agriculture teacher, Mr. Cooper. He led me to want to pursue this career and helped me to get here along with the guidance department. Overall, Gilbert High School is an amazing school with few flaws. I will say the technology is kind of blown out of proportion but that is within the whole Lexington District One. Other than that, the teachers are amazing, the classes are very informative and the students are, for the most part, friendly.
