I graduated from Gilbert just last year (2016) and it was a great school. It is totally different when you're a student just wanting to get out and an alumni who has actually come to feel proud of their high school. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely still pick Gilbert due to the tremendous help and encouragement that is fluent there. I ended up at Clemson studying Agricultural Education thanks to my wonderful agriculture teacher, Mr. Cooper. He led me to want to pursue this career and helped me to get here along with the guidance department. Overall, Gilbert High School is an amazing school with few flaws. I will say the technology is kind of blown out of proportion but that is within the whole Lexington District One. Other than that, the teachers are amazing, the classes are very informative and the students are, for the most part, friendly.
Review Gilbert High School
Gilbert has been a really good school in the three years that I have attended it. I would like it if they had better food and stuck to a dress code agreement. It's okay for girls to walk around wearing shorts that only go down not even mid thigh while I've gotten dress coded for my leggings when wearing a giant hoodie. Literally my jeans show more. Gilbert does provide good academics, clubs, and learning experiences though.
I really enjoy this school! I couldn't have found a better one to start of my college experience. Though, the only thing that I would change about it would be the hybrid classes, they can probably work on that a little more. Other than that I am pleased and satisfied with being a student at Midlands Technical College!
