I went to Gilbert schools all my life before coming to USC Aiken and I loved every second of it. For me, high school was amazing! The teachers and staff at Gilbert High and there's so much pride in the school. There's not a thing I would change, GO INDIANS!

I like that teachers are very willing to help out. They allow students to set up times when they need extra tutoring or to retake tests. Gilbert High School makes students feel comfortable in who they are and who they want to become. They encourage students to keep striving for their dreams. But, something I would change is the guidance counselor's involvement in a student's future. I feel that they need to be more involved in trying to get students scholarships.
GHS is great school and I loved the small community. With small class size I was able to connect with my peers and teachers. I would not have the academic success I do without the great teachers that are there. Also, i played volleyball while I was there and all my teachers really helped me knowing I was a student athlete which meant a lot. Every adult or student is excited to meet new people and help out in any way. It is so reassuring to be able to ask anyone for help. I have always felt safe at my school which is so important at this day in age. I really respect the administrators because they are always looking for a way to improve our school and help students as well as teachers. My High school experience at GHS has been one I won't forget.
