I graduated from Gilbert just last year (2016) and it was a great school. It is totally different when you're a student just wanting to get out and an alumni who has actually come to feel proud of their high school. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely still pick Gilbert due to the tremendous help and encouragement that is fluent there. I ended up at Clemson studying Agricultural Education thanks to my wonderful agriculture teacher, Mr. Cooper. He led me to want to pursue this career and helped me to get here along with the guidance department. Overall, Gilbert High School is an amazing school with few flaws. I will say the technology is kind of blown out of proportion but that is within the whole Lexington District One. Other than that, the teachers are amazing, the classes are very informative and the students are, for the most part, friendly.

Overall, I have had a great experience at Gilbert High school throughout my four years. I love the small community Gilbert is composed of with roughly less than 250 students in my graduating class, which is smaller compared to my old school at 900 students in my class. Everybody knows everyone and the strong sense of community through athletics makes Gilbert such an enjoyable place.
Gilbert High School is located in a very safe and warm environment. The teachers, staff, and administrators of GHS put the students first and Lexington School District 1 is excellent in academics. Great schools to send your children to.
