Gilbert Classical Academy is an exceptional school. It is small, so everybody is comfortable and friends with everybody. It is difficult, challenging, and fast-paced which I enjoy. However, there is a lot of people who wouldn't make it here for that reason. There is a good balance of strict teachers and fun, laid-back teachers. I am genuinely happy here!
However, that is not to day that everything is perfect. I feel that with more funding, Gilbert Classical Academy could be the best school in Arizona. Right now, we lack the facilities necessary for certain sports as well as teachers for more interesting electives. Gilbert Classical Academy only offers arts like orchestra, art, and guitar as electives. I would like to anatomy & physiology, financial applications, and technology as electives. At the same time, that would require more students. Therefore, I understand wanting to maintain the small, intelligent, and dedicated community that we are.

Teachers and staff at Gilbert Classical Academy encourage their students to achieve the impossible. Because it's such a small school, students are able to connect and develop strong relationships with their peers and administrators. In addition to that, the rigor at GCA is so competitive that it guarantees your child with the best educational experience that's possible, in which will prepare your child for college. Furthermore, GCA has counselors that are always open to talk to about your child's educational career preceding junior high and high school. I definitely recommend for you to consider this school!
This school really had me push my limits. The atmosphere is very academically oriented. However the best thing I would say about the school is definitely the people that I have met. These are the sweetest and friendliest people, I have never experienced any bullying and the students work together extremely well. They really made me feel at home there. On the other side however, the school really does not have much funding since it is small, we have a very small stage, a dirt track, soccer fields are in very bad condition. The Teachers have excessive workloads, and of course, the students do as well. But by far the worst thing in the school has to be the useless busy work that is given in the extra classes that students are forced to take. Seniors take as many classes as freshmen even when they only need 2 classes to graduate. I would recommend this school to any willing to do a lot of hard work. I definitely would not recommend if you are lazy as the work load is a lot at times.
