My experience at GRHS has been really good. I've met so many students like myself that are hardworking and just all around AVID students. In the last two academic school years, I've been able to really get a feel for my school and get more involved in extracurriculars. I managed for my Varsity football team for a whole year and as of now I plan on managing for my Varsity wrestling team. Since being more involved, I've come to see just how caring and open-minded my school is. We have everything from chess club, to Youth for Christ and even multiple LGBTQIA+ friendly groups that anyone can join. Thank you GRHS for the best high school experience I could ask for!

Gila Ridge High School is a perfect school for me as a student. I saw dedicated teachers who took their time after school to help a single child get better on their grades for the betterment of their future. All the faculty and staff members were nice and lovely that I wouldn't change a single aspect of any of them due to their kindness and love that they always give to anybody that walks through the front office to go to the campus to pick up their kid. The only thing that I like to see change is the lunch menu of the school. I would like to see healthier choices of food such as peanut butter sandwich, eggs with chorizo, etc. I have seen kids eating hamburgers that aren't healthy for them to eat since they are growing in both mentally and physically. Other than this aspect of the school, I wouldn't change a single aspect of the school. Gila Ridge High School would always be one of ''home schools'' to always visit in Yuma, Arizona!
Gila Ridge High School is the newest high school in Yuma, turning twelve in the fall. Its facilities are modern and well maintained with friendly security guards paroling between classes. Classes are exciting, and the teachers want to see you succeed and try your best. However, Career Technical Education is fantastic at. Our agriculture and Welding programs are designed to help students prepare for the future and enjoy it too! The Advisors care about their students and make learning fun. There are over twenty CTE programs at Gila Ridge. We also have an outstanding art program. there's something for everyone. When it comes to standardized tests, they're entirely paid for by the school, and the advisors can help with classes and college applications. Arizona Western College is also right next door to the school which provides an excellent duel enrolled curriculum for students who desire it.
