Gesu Elementary School Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 3 reviews
There's not much diversity at this school. The school lunches are great, costly but great. This is a good school but needs improvement in diversity, surveillance on teachers and students, and a better sex-ed class. However, there is an improvement in the extracurricular classes. I will admit the students at this school are a little off the handle. There's structure but many of the students at this school have said offensive, racist, sexist, inappropriate, and derogatory things towards other students, on school property. This school holds kids responsible for homework matters. They are not held responsible for the insensitive and offensive comments pointed towards other people. I would like to see a change in this before I send a child here.
Gesu is a tight-knit academically well-rounded school. It has a beautiful church and enriching religion classes. But, it has many flaws. To start, there is a serious lack of teachers observing how the students act. I have seen students use racial and homophobic slurs. I have seen students be sexually harassed. I have seen bullying. All of these things are somehow go unseen by the teachers and/or unpunished. Next, there is a huge amount of stressful homework. I have witnessed students breaking down because of a single assignment. The teachers seem to not care about the stress they are putting on the students and their parents/guardians. Gesu seriously pushes very religious beliefs on the students. Sex Ed classes need to be improved. And lastly, Gesu School seems to not care about the well-being of students.
It was a very school and my child loves it. It has computers for each student to use and very nice teachers for the children.
