MY EXPERIENCE AT GERVAIS HIGH SCHOOL WAS GREAT! I ENJOYED THE SMALL CLASSROOMS AND BEING PART OF LEADERSHIP HELPED ME DEVELOP SKILLS THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE DEVELOPED IF IT WASN'T FOR THE STAFF. ALTHOUGH IT WAS A VERY NICE ENVIRONMENT, I SEEMED AS IF SOME PROFESSOR DIDN'T ENJOY TEACHING AND THEY JUST DIDN'T DO IT THE RIGHT WAY. THEY GAVE UP BOOKS AND PACKETS AND THAT IS ALL WE DID. WHEN I WENT TO COLLEGE, I FELT LIKE MY SCHOOL HAD SUCH A POOR EDUCATION SYSTEM COMPARED TO OTHERS.

GERVAIS SCHOOL DISTRICT IS ALSO KNOWN AS A FAILURE SCHOOL, SADLY.

Gervais High School is small school, with a tight knit community. You get one on one help from teachers because of how small the student population is. All the teachers are caring and truly make a point in wanting to see you succeed. The only thing that i wish was different about my school is that they should offer more creative, fun electives and classes. I feel that it would expand the creativity in the students and further school spirit.
The school in overall was okay. The school does lack some club activities. Most teacher did a good job on teaching, but some you had to ask help personally to understand the subject. It is a small school so you can personally connect with the staff and students are usually friendly.
