My experience is a mixture of good and memories as do all students who went or still in high school. Washington is a good school but there is a lack of communication between administration/ those in charge of senior events or any event for students so students have to find out through other students or teachers, but that information is incorrect. The teachers make the environment extremely cozy. One minute the teacher is laughing with the class over a joke and the next minute everyone is back on track onto learning new subjects. The bathrooms are in a constant state of tragedy. There is hardly ever any toilet paper or soap, the toilets are never flushed or clogged up, and the doors to enter the bathrooms are constantly locked and you have to walk around the school to find a bathroom that isn't locked.

I enjoyed the feeling of readiness and how prepared I feel for college. This is thanks to my teachers and the school in general. Many people believe that Washington isn’t the best school and it has a poor reputation but it has honestly shaped me tremendously into the person I’ve become and all the rumors are false. I do not regret coming to this school and I encourage the younger generations to come and give it a try. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming!
There were only very few things that I had enjoyed from being at George Washington High School; such as the friendships that I made throughout the years, the lessons that I had learned overall from each year, and the certain clubs that I had participated when I had time. Although, while it wouldn't be fair to credit the school with having some positives, it can improve tremendously since the facilities are not always the best, a lot of fixing and repairs need to be made, and the safety and security of the staff and students needs to be improved overall. I just also hoped that there was something to be excited about when going into the school since it was basically the same everyday for the past 4 years that I have been in. It can get difficult at times as well due to the large amount of students and short amount of staff and personnel.
