I really love George Washington Community High School. I’ve been there since 7th grade and a lot has changed . We have a new principal and he’s great at what he does! He’s very supportive and he cares about every student and their success . We now have the Future Center and it’s for helpful. The Administrators in there helps with essays, jobs & college. They mainly focus on the 3 E’s which are education, enrollment or employment . I can’t forget about all the great teachers we have now ! I can tell that all the teachers are there because they want to help us become better people and be sucessful young adults .
George Washington is the best high school. All of the teachers try their best to educate you. I graduated from George Washington in 2018. During my three years of being a student there, the teachers prepared me for college. My first semester in college wasn't as challenging as I thought it would be, because I had already was prepared for the challenges that may come from my years at George Washington community high school. I really appreciate all my teachers that took the time even during the hours when they were not on the clock getting paid helping me, it was well worth it.
What i like about George Washington Community High School is that they helped me get focused on school. Their teachers and staff are fantastic and they care about their students. Also they always continued to push me and never let me give up when things got rough. It was always someone to talk to when i was having a bad day also i could trust most of my teachers. The only thing that should change is the dress code. I feel that students should be able to express themselves and still dress school or business appropriate. Other then that, it is the best high school in ips district and i love them dearly. They changed my life for the better.
