George Walton Academy Reviews
Rating 3.93 out of 5 80 reviews
I have attended GWA since K4. My experience has been outstanding. The school is top notch in academics and offers a wide array of extracurricular activities. I love my school and am thankful for its administration, teachers, coaches and student body. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
Overall, George Walton is a good school. The majority of the teachers there care deeply about their student, and they want to see them succeed. Also, all the traditions that are there are amazing, and they allow the community to grow together: Senior-first graders, Ice cream social, etc. However, academic success is tremendously stressed on the students, and it can seem overwhelming at times. The students are held to high standards and are expected to meet every one of them.
George Walton has a great atmosphere and support system that makes any student feel comfortable and welcome. Academics are no issue, and the school lunch has gotten better this year. Lots of consideration goes into the students’ college applications and choices.
