Carver is the best school I could have gone to! Almost everyone at Carver was the weird kid in Middle School so bullying, harassment, and mistreatment is something we stay very far away from. The primes are like families: we are all pretty tight. Yes, the food is BCPS quality but sometimes there are Carver Cafes where you can but a great meal with your family.

Carver Center has fantastic teachers and a great, supportive community of students. Though there are some issues with some individual teachers in the visual arts, most faculty is very open and welcoming to students of all backgrounds. The administration could be a little bit more active in enforcing anti-bullying rules, though issues with that are fairly rare. Also- no fights! Never any fights!
Carver is a very open school, and it's easy to be yourself here. There's very little judgement passed around. Also the academics range from slow-paced to extremely rigorous, so it provides a lot of opportunities and helps those who need more help. There have been very little fights, only 3 that I've heard of and I've been going there for 2 years. Also the art/tech programs are extremely advanced and there is a lot of equipment available especially for visual arts and carpentry.
All in all I'd say the school is very good and I'd recommend coming here!
