George Ranch is great for people who want a decently competitive challenge that prepares them decently well for college. The parents are involved and there are lots of organizations you can join. That being said, the students there are actually the worst part of the school. It's predominately upper middle class white students and while I met some of my closest friends here I witnessed for worse bullying and people being treated awfully because they didn't fit in with the lifestyle that many of the students followed. People who didn't live and die for the sports teams and did anything creative like band, Anime club or things of that sort were made fun of or not accepted. The worst part is i felt some of the kids weren't even bad, it was just their friends bullying and making fun so they just followed suit.

When the school first opened, the administration was a strong group. This has changed in the last couple of years. Common sense is not used in handling school situations. The mid range kids are left out. The upper elite and lower level are catered to more. I hope that they can return to the outstanding school they were when they first opened. All students need to be held accountable for their actions.,. We are involved parents and I believe that this has helped our daughter be successful at GRHS. There are a handful of excellent teacher at GRHS. There is also a handful that refer the student to look up any questions they have without ever teaching the lesson. They leave it up to the student to teach themselves,
George Ranch High School was a great high school to attend. It provided a fantastic learning environment with teachers that cared about the well being of their students. It was also a great school because of the many different clubs and organizations that included anyone with any interest. In addition, the longhorn spirit was strong with every sporting event and achievement made within the school and the people in it. In all, George Ranch was a friendly environment to grow in during high school years that provided me a good basis for college.
