New Tech Odessa pushes the forefront of education through the use of technology and motives for teaching. Since the school ground’s opening, the technology program and college readiness system have opened new opportunities for students to succeed during their time at high school and at college institutions. The use of school-issued laptops with the inclusion of the New Tech student portal, completing assignments, and checkings grades are far more convenient. At NTO, classrooms are devoted to only having medium to small classes as this ensures every child receives personal guidance and one to one learning benefits in the system. Due to the college readiness program at NTO, all students have the benefit of taking the SAT for free at least once. In essence, the whole purpose of joining the New Tech community is for learners to develop the deep-rooted skills of teamwork, ownership, and computer literacy-- all common requisites for learners to succeed in life.

My experience in NTO has been wonderful! I’ve attended many schools, and always had trouble making friends. In NTO they focus on group based learning, this helps us, students communicate more with our peers, and makes it easier to make friends.
The school is nice but the principals have been changed every year and its very stressful. The students are okay but are not too fun to be around. The faculty is average i guess. I wish the principal would be consistent and not change every year but hey that's public education for you. Well i need to make this at least 100 characters so bear with me for a bit. So anyway the school doesn't have sports because the rival highschools permian and ohs don't want to have other highschools with sports because that will bring their overall football score down. And that's just stupid, i mean they still suck, it's just old dinosaurs that don't want to improve and just want their glory days to stay there forever.
