Gateway tries very hard to be a good school the students just don't always reciprocate that energy. Could use better funding for the school to improve the teaching abilities. It's harder to learn when there isn't enough books, computers, or sometimes even desks. Other than that the Gateway community is great!

As far as a school Gateway has been working on many things for years. I'd be nice if the school finally got the upgrade that we were promised years ago. It would also be nice if APS District people could help our school with the complications that we've been having for a few years now. These fixes could help students fufill their task of achieving education in a better way, getting the High School experience they deserve, and the preperation of college that they should be recieving because education is the root of the future.
Attending Gateway for my full high school career was amazing. The school is fairly small but we felt like a family. Gateway has so much heart especially if you are involved. I was involved in student council, choir, theater, dance, and taking college classes, and IB courses. Through those programs I made connections with fellow classmates and created a family bond. I made connections with admin and staff also, making my academic experience really good. Overall, the experience was great. Of course, every school has somethings they could work on though.
