The technology that the school offers enhances learning. The programs offered vary in many things. We have many programs for engineering, and vocation trades. We also offer agricultural studies. We also have many classes that are college level. Being involved in these classes are also very advanced and that have many classes that advance with them. We also have many programs for art and music and other fine art. The teachers that teach these are very involved with their students and help them grow. This goes along with all of the other teachers. They are involved with the students because it is a smaller environment. The administration is also very involved in the school. You often see principals and guidance counselor walking around and sitting in classes. They give you many opportunities to talk to them about many things and concerns.

Garrett High School is an amazing school for anyone who desires smaller classrooms with teachers that they can connect with. Each teacher cares about their students and would do anything to help them succeed in class. Even if a student would like to take charge of their own learning experience they might be interested in what is called the academy. The academy is where students must achieve goals through their own way of learning and have the ability to achieve these goals any way they would like to; of course, there are teachers present to make sure they stay on track and help guide the students on what to do if that student is having trouble. All and all, Garrett is not just a school but a community for students who want to learn in safe environment. The people are friendly and the school spirit is through the roof! Even the amazing faculty members are super involved in what and how the students are learning.
Garrett High School is an excellent learning environment, the teachers know their subjects and care very deeply about making sure the students understand the material. As Garrett is a growing town, there are constantly new people moving in and combined with outreach programs and the Japanese exchange program, you are always meeting new people with different backgrounds and cultures. Garrett High School is an amazing place to spend your high school career and the staff does an excellent job of preparing you for the real world.
