Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School Reviews
Rating 3.96 out of 5 204 reviews
While writing this review I have reminisced on all the memories I have from attending Garner-Hayfield-Ventura High School. GHV has welcomed me with open arms since I am a dual-enrolled student. Many part-time home-schooled students have difficulties with making friends and joining in on class discussions. GHV has torn those stereotypes down and gave me an accepting and supportive group of friends, teammates, and environment. Although GHV did not teach me my classic core classes, they taught me an even more important lesson - proper communication. This communication can be shown on the court when I play basketball, in the classroom during discussion, at my interview with my future boss, negotiating in group debates, and even a conversation one-on-one. Attaining the ability to formally communicate with all without any mishaps is a skill in my perspective. Closing up my final year I am now realizing how I will use these communication skills in the real world. Thank you GHV!
Garner-Hayfield-Ventura is a great school, and I definitely recommend it. I felt like I couldn't fit in at other schools, but Garner-Hayfield-Ventura makes everyone feel like a family. There is only one thing I would change about Garner-Hayfield-Ventura and that is the food. The food isn't awful, but it's nothing surprising. This is my review on Garner-Hayfield-Ventura.
I love my high school. Here at GHV, there is a multitude of opportunities and options for students to have a full high school experience. A student can be involved in sports, the arts, and clubs all while maintaining a strong academic career. One final thing that I love about Garner-Hayfield-Ventura is the relationships between students and teachers. Having a strong relationship between the students and teachers allows students to be confident and dedicated in their school work. Having the ability to go to a teacher for anything, ranging from mental health issues to assignment confusions, benefits both the student and the teacher.
