There is a very strong sense of community, and most teachers love their jobs. There are lots of opportunities to join sports, many inclusive clubs, and fun opportunities to go on international school trips. The school takes academics very seriously. However, there are very limited AP class options, as well as no SAT prep course. I believe an SAT course could improve the schools overall scores as a whole. I enjoyed my time at GAHS, just wish they would create more opportunities for students in the form of internships, job shadowing, and advanced courses.

Okay school facility, kind of old compared to other school campuses. Very sports driven. Not a lot of diversity, but slowly gaining more. A safe school with barely any physical fights or conflict. It prepares students for college heavily in Junior and Senior year, which is good if you actually want to go to college. Academics is good, it offers many AP and Duel Enrollment classes and there are many extracurricular classes including vocational (CATC).
Great school. Lots of opportunities to take dual enrollment or AP Classes to be challenged. Lots of sports opportunities and students and parents take athletics very seriously. Community involvement is very high. Lots of musical and art opportunities as well. The teachers try their best to help students. The only thing would be renovating parts of the school and adding a large theater to compete with Class A schools, that would make a huge difference. Loved my time at GAHS when I was there 2014-2018.
