I have been a student at Gallia Academy High School for four long years, however, they sure seemed to fly by. This school is a safe place with the best staff you could ever ask for. This school is great is many ways with a wonderful educational system and team members who care about their fellow members and their students!

Gallia Academy has its advantages and disadvantages. The teachers are excellent. They care for their students and are very memorable. I will miss them dearly when I graduate. However, money towards student activities isn't well spent here. I can't blame the school completely. I feel that our students are all work and no fun. At the end of the day, we just want to go home or we have to go to work. I think our school could do a better job, however. For example, prom is just ridiculous. We do a fundraiser every year, and it never does well. I believe prom could be better if students were asked to bring in items instead. Students have said this before. This brings me to my next problem. This is that our student council and our Senior class are never listened to, and their suggestions are always ignored.
Gallia Academy is a great school. It’s a newer building offering many classes but not all. Our school doesn’t offer many Honors or AP courses which could be a problem for some. Most teachers are accepting but not all of them. If one had plans of taking an AP science class at Gallia Academy they wouldn't be able
to. That being said, the classes we do offer are all great classes. The music department is stellar. Sports are good too. Overall, it’s a good school but if you’re looking for a school with harder more advanced classes and a greater selection of clubs Gallia Academy shouldn’t be your first choice.
