I moved to Florida during the end of my sophomore year. When I first heard the news that we're moving, the instant fear i got was changing schools and coming to a completely new environment that I had never been in. I was afraid that I wouldn't make friends or make any sports team, I was afraid of the school itself. During my first month here i loved it! In fact, my first DAY, I was welcomed with hugs and new friends! Now my junior year, i have great friends, am on the cheer team, great teachers, and love everything about Gaither!

I'm in my sophomore year and planning for my future is so easy to see! This school is amazing and the guidance counselors, life coach and teachers have helped me so much. I was so scared of high school my freshmen year but everyone i knew helped me little by little. This is the first year of the music program and I'm in the orchestra. The school said I can take a new leadership class that was added to the program and it has been amazing. All of us classmates have gotten so close and discussed all about our future after high school. I wouldn't say the school is the easiest because I have definitely had a tough time here and there. But I always had someone to go to.
The extracurricular activities are some of the best in the nation. However, the administration is ineffective and fails to communicate amongst themselves, let alone the rest of the school. In addition, there is little to none academic recognition. There is also very little push to succeed put for from the guidance counselors or even teachers themselves. However, once students find their spot in various electives, you learn to deal with the issues.
