I enjoyed Gainesville because of the many opportunities that were offered to the students. While I feel that some members of the teaching staff may not have been the best fit for their subjects, overall the teaching staff was very well put together. One bad experience I had at the school was actually with the lockers. Even after talking to the other person multiple times, they had hit me in the head with their locker door when i kneeled to get to mine. Also, in 6th grade the school put me in the wrong “team” and did not see that I was supposed to be in the Advanced math class, so my entire schedule had to be changed.

Gainesville was a lively school. I got a very good education and made lifelong friends. It is safe and generally happy. While the staff at times could be a little over the top, I feel like they did it for the good of the students. I am happy with my experience there.
This was a great Middle School, especially when compared to my former middle school, Beville. The teachers were all knowledgeable and understanding if mistakes were made. The classes were challenging and the administration were happy to work around my wants and needs, as I was able to join the Signet class and take French I. The best thing about this school, was that in 8th grade they had a career fair, were actual professionals visited and told the students about their careers.
