G. Holmes Braddock Senior High was home to my brother, my sister, and I. We all graduated different years, however we feel the same way about the school. This high school is very diverse and allows people to be who they are. There are many different sports, clubs, and activities to partake in; I even partook in some! The teachers are highly educated and easy to understand. They are also caring and are willing to do whatever it takes for their students to pass with a high GPA and achieve their goals. The staff acts as your guardians and makes you feel welcome twenty four seven. G. Holmes Braddock is an amazing high school.

The administration is actually the worst I've ever come across. Anyone who works in the office is extremely rude and makes you feel hopeless in any circumstance. At one point I was bullied and yelled at by other students in front of their own substitutes who simply let it happen. I was able to video tape it , yet when I took it to the administration they did nothing. Academically wise, if you're not in Cambridge it's not worth it. Not to mention the administration simply only cares about money. As an officer and Co-captain of a club in this school trying to fund money was made very difficult as the administration would somehow always try to take a percentage of it. Which, left the students in these clubs having to pay out of their own pockets for practically everything. If you wanted to purchase something for your club/team it had to be through an "approved vendor" which were practically only two options including NC1 who works for the school and were extremely unprofessional.
I transferred over from another high school when I moved to the Kendall area and I loved going to G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School. I made plenty of friends and during club rush I was able to join a number of clubs/organizations. I had wonderful teachers which I still remember how they used to motivate me tremendously even when I doubted myself. I loved our library because its big, beautiful, and full of amazing books. Our school is also relatively clean and food was average, but we did have clubs selling delicious bagels all the time. I had a blast going here and I loved all my classes, especially my art class! I even helped build the art gallery they have now and opportunities to grow and flourish where always at your fingertips. I was so proud to graduate from this school and it was some of the best years I've had!
