My experience at frontier high school has been amazing. Not only am I Varsity wrestler for the Frontier Titans, I have made a lot of friends with classmates and teachers. The wrestling coaches are very involved and want us to succeed not only wrestling but also in life. The only thing that I would change is the academic courses. The courses that we have are bland compared to other schools, in fact I have met a lot of friends that have exceptional class ideas that frontier has yet to implement. But other than that, frontier is a great high school for a growing teen to study, learn, and grow.

I like Frontier High School but there's a variety of students that sometimes feel excluded daily and its difficult for new members in the community to figure out what's happening daily in the school campus itself such as clubs, after-school and more. Sometimes teachers seem unpassionate and give assignments then test and not following up if a student is failing. Then if a student asks for help they're told to read the book, to study more or give the excuse that is how college is. Instead of helping students with at least students skills or recommending a good tutor or anything with further information.
Although its resources are excellent such as in technology with the chrome books.
Overall the school is a very decent school, considering the area I live in. The teachers here tend to be very kind and are very helpful. I have never felt threatened and have not been a situation where I am to question my safety, however, I can only speak for myself. Resource are well provided and I feel lucky to have them at hands reach. In terms of college preparation, other than advice, there is not as much other than trying to emphasize the GPA requirements. Personally, I would like to see an emphasize on scholarships and more assistance in that area. The academics at the school feel to low, the difficulty is to easy, perhaps explaining the low average GPA at the Kern High School District that it is infamous for. So perhaps, I would recommend more pressure on the students to do better academically and more difficult classes.
