Frisco High School is not only the original high school of Frisco, TX but also holds the most opportunities for high schoolers in our public school district of 10 high schools (and more are to come). Our teachers and staff work relentlessly to enable every student to reach their full potential. Our sports, fine arts, and academic teams offer countless opportunities; where every student is encourages and provided the resources to be the best version of themselves they can be. Simply put, there is school that can compare to the community Frisco High School provides; FHS is truly the high school to attend! Go Raccoons!

Frisco High School has provided me with a multitude of opportunities since the moment I stepped foot inside my freshman year. There is just about every club you can think of, and if you feel that you don’t fit, you can always come up with a new one! Our staff is very accepting of individuality, and they make an effort to make us feel as comfortable as they can while still maintaining a professional environment. Our school is also very diverse; we have people of different races, religions, sexualities, and economic classes. However, all of us are raccoons under the roof of Frisco High.
Frisco High School (FHS) is just a bit above average. There are a handful of teachers who are enthusiastic and passionate about educating, and there are those who aren't. The culture is decent, but it depends on when you're enrolled. When I graduated, the freshmen were tearing up the place, resulting in reduced privileges for the rest of the students. On a positive note, this school certainly delivers when it comes to opportunities. There are plenty of AP courses to choose from, dual credit courses, mentorship-independent study courses, and they're working on implementing an IB program. The only thing I wish the school prioritized is better spending. Departments of teachers (that are exceedingly worth investing in) get denied funding to expand their programs, and thus the school's budget is blown on purchasing coffee tables or extra pavement in a vain attempt to beautify the school. If I could be in change one thing, it would be the budget priorities.
