Favoritism runs rampant. administration shows favoritism to particular teachers, and teachers show favoritism to particular students. It's not subtle either. Most of the teachers are truly wonderful people; only a few are exceptional teachers. Teaching lacks critical thinking development. Curriculum designed to be easy rather than inspire excellence; general satisfaction with mediocrity. The teachers who push their students to excellence are usually the most disliked because they are "too hard." Many decisions are made to satisfy the student body, regardless of whether or not their education benefits from it.
FCS will not push you to be the best you can be, but it won't hurt you either. You can get a great education here if you challenge yourself; most of the teachers (excluding elementary) won't. Atmosphere can be fake, but most of the students here are kind. Small size makes a close community. The few great teachers here are truly exceptional! Sadly, many have left.

I love this school. The teachers are kind and caring. My experience with the school so far has been awesome. My daughters teacher is encouraging and also keeps us (parents) in the loop of what's going on. If there is something we need to help with, she talks to us about it. Her teacher really makes the learning experience fun and exciting for my daughter, who gets bored easily. And at the same time, my daughter is learning about God and how He is part of her life. It's exciting to see my daughter excited about Jesus and singing all the songs and quoting Bible verses. Wouldn't have her anywhere else. Another thing we were concerned about was safety. Very secure facility, fenced in and all doors locked and main doors have security codes to enter. Makes me feel better leaving her there.
Friendship Christian School strives to push students to achieve a well-rounded high school experience. The teachers at Friendship emphasize cultivating a relationship with God. The only downside to this school is its small size, which limits the diversity of sports, clubs, and classes. This school's small size does however contribute to a tightly nit student body and welcoming environment.
