We are an independent Quaker school empowering our students with a joyful, holistic, values-based education to last a lifetime. Through the Quaker guiding testimonies of Community, Peace, Simplicity, Integrity, Equality, and Stewardship, we strive to bring out the best in ourselves and each other.

Our classes are academically rigorous with a curated curriculum to meet each student where they are in their learning journey. We support all to achieve their full potential and share their natural gifts with the world.

We cultivate global citizens through project based learning, an approach that motivates students to identify their areas of interest, conduct expansive research on global and local implications, and actualize solutions in their own community.

We were searching for a school with excellent academic opportunities and with a clear mission in line with our values. Friends instill the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship into their lessons so that my child learns social intelligence and responsibility. My generally reserved child has honestly become more adept at conflict resolution and expressing opinions in a respectful and direct way than I am. He also engages in critical thinking about various social issues, has hands-on exploration in nature (I can now identify a slime mold in the woods he learned from nature club), uses various technologies (internet safety is also taught/valued), has used many art mediums and music instruments (plays recorder and takes voice lessons in their music school), he has become more confident is speaking Spanish to our family and we are impressed with the caliber of the teaching staff —see their site for more information.

My son has been at this school for the last 4 years and we couldn’t be happier! He’s reading well above level and enjoys challenging math work. They enjoy the basic subjects as well as extra enrichment such as Spanish, art, music, gym, and so much more. Each project they do is an experience and life lesson. This school has brought joy and excitement back to education.

Our child is seen in and challenged. Covid showed us how much more advanced he was than his classmates and how easy for the teachers to not recognize his boredom and to challenge him. The school invites you to be a part of the learning process. The campus is wide open and freeing, and while the school is small-- one class per grade generally-- there is nothing small about what they are offer and the quality of the resources and staff. The school is mission driven and builds character, friendships, and strong educational foundations.
