As a PSEO student, I received little to no communication through my personal email as I requested. I received more information from my band teacher and classmates' posts on social media than from my counselors. I missed the senior class picture, I missed school events, and I missed scholarship opportunities. I would email my counselors and receive replies months later if I was lucky. Doing PSEO was a great decision for my mental health.

Great atmosphere! The school is lacking in honors programs for underclassmen, but the teachers cater to all students! Activities are great (but sometimes underfunded). Fridley is definitely the best public school in the area.
The class sizes are small enough that you can get some one on one time with the teachers. Even if the class sizes are big, the teachers find a way to give you some one on one time during class. Fridley also has one lunch. This is where the lunch period is nine hour. During one lunch you can meet with teachers for extra help on material, eat around the school, play basketball in the gym, eat with friends in the lunchroom, and if you're a senior you can eat in the senior courtyard. Fridley is average. The most appealing thing to a student would probably be one lunch. The most appealing thing to a parent would probably be that it's an IB World school. This means that it tries to be more diverse in the teachers, teachings , and students. I would rate Fridley High School average.
