Fresno Christian is an amazing school, whether you're in kindergarten or a senior. The teachers and administration really care about each and every student and teach to the very best of their availability. No school is perfect, but FCS is for sure the closest to this definition. The environment is one that is filled-with Christ-loving and serving students who want to make a difference in our world!
I had such a great experience at Fresno Christian Schools! From the friendly staff and teachers to the rigorous academic courses, my time at FCS was well spent. I always felt cared for by the teachers who would check in on me in seasons of busyness and ask how they could help out. The only thing I would change about FCS would be the amount of courses available; due to the smaller teaching staff, only a certain amount of academic courses are offered each year and I would love to see some more available. Other than that, my time at Fresno Christian was great!
Overall good school, if you’re Christian, it’s perfect for you because everything revolves around religion. You have 7 classes and one is for religion. I am not Christian, but I still think this is a good school. It has a great community and all of the teachers are kind and very intelligent. Downsides for me is that they really try to send you a lot of messages about converting other people to Christianity in their chapels and prayers. You are required to shave everyday even though some people because of their skin tone and hair color have more hair than others like me with darker hair and a darker skin tone. A smaller school means more of a caring community vibe. Only around 200+ kids in high school. However in my opinion they try to leech a lot of money out of you. I’m not saying the faculty is greedy, in fact they are the kindest teachers and staff you can come to know, but they charge 11k per year, around $80 for Formal and Sadie’s, depending on each sport you play: $200-800, etc.
