From French American School of Princeton

At the French American School of Princeton, we believe that in order for children to embrace the love of learning, they should be supported, encouraged and appreciated. We want our students to flourish as adults and remain creative and curious throughout their lives. It is with this belief that we allow them to be active learners who are respected for who they are and what they wish to explore.

We cultivate, nurture, and guide our students throughout their journey with us. Becoming bilingual is just the beginning of this exciting adventure!

We are proud and happy to welcome your child and your family to our community.

Our daughter has joined FASP as a preschooler since September 2018. As a French speaking family, it was very important for us that she could grow in a bilingual culture. The school offers several activities and has a very dynamic program. Our daughter has a wonderful teacher who knows perfectly each kid of her class and we can feel our daughter learns, plays, grows in a very creative and positive environment! The staff is kind and always ready to help. We are so glad we chose FASP for her !

We have been lucky to find FASP, when moving inNew Jersey. Bilingual education has always been a preference for us and at FASP you get the best of both worlds.

French teachers choose quality subjects during workshops and forums (shared presentations to parents), while giving instruction on history, geography, literature and mathematics. Not only French kids but everyone is capable by the end of the first semester to express in French language.
American teachers also provide American education, sport, music, and science. Time schedule is cleverly organized so that both cultures blend naturally. It is amazing how kids develop skills with confidence and learn to become autonomous, not just learning lessons but also learning how to deal with complex situations, respect to each others and to their environment.

The school is located in beautiful buildings and surroundings, and we are grateful that our children had the opportunity to stay at FASP. They love their school.
Our daughter started going to the French American School last year at the age of 4 (Pre-K). It has been an amazing experience seeing her grow in a bilingual and a diverse community. At the time when starting, she had no knowledge of French although she knew two other languages. Her transition, as well as the support provided by teachers, has been amazing to witness. Teachers and staff at FASP are dedicated and nurturing. The curriculum is very balanced. As an educator myself I value the stimulating and diverse education FASP offers. We settled in Princeton area mainly because of FASP. We very much appreciate the diversity we see at FASP in terms of nationalities as well as a wide spectrum of economic and cultural backgrounds. Staff and teachers are extremely welcoming. This is an amazingly inclusive community and we are very pleased with our decision. Our younger daughter will join our 5-year-old at FASP this coming Fall.
