Overall, International is a very rigorous school that prepares you to be a great person and undergraduate. Coming from an African American household, I feel this school lacks a lot of diversity not only in the cultural and racial department but in the education representation around said topic. The school is not very transparent around What our tuition Goes towards or what resources are available to us as students. The school has also been very unorganized in informing the students of Important information like final exams and class information. I will say though that this school has the excellent ability to unite students and prepare them in a way no other school can. The level of education is something that drew me to this school - being able to be around students who love learning and love being at school is something that encourages me to work harder everyday. The arts is also something worth mentioning as they truly understand the importance of the arts in a students life.
The French Bac will prepare you extremely well in critical thinking. Should you do the highest possible math level, your math level will be around AP level and a few other odds and ends combined, which is incredibly high but comparable to other prestigious institutions. Your English level will also be very high because of the IB English HL classes. I do think that it is more of a liberal arts high school, although you can get a strong science background that will prepare you for college.
A thing to note is that, while the career / college counseling is beyond exceptional, a lot of people that go there are very rich and pretty old money so they use their own personal connections to get into college. If you don't have those connections then it is much more unlikely for you to end up in an Ivy League or top 5 in your major institution than they would like to make you think it is. If you work hard (which a lot but not all students do) you will still get into a (very) good college.

This school is very disorganized especially once you get higher up into the grade levels (11-12) in the bac and ib. Many of the teachers are rude, inconsiderate, and plain out creepy and the school does nothing to help students combat these issues even after repeated complaints. In all the school doesn't take action until it's too late and the damage has already been done. There have been plenty of racist encounters with other students and many other things that make people uncomfortable. Most people are sad here.
