Because of our diverse population, Fremont High School students learn to grow up without judgement. The mixing of cultures and background allows students to gain differing perspectives of the world just through attending school. The campus is also one of the nicest in not only the district, but the entire area. In fact, the building environment is much nicer than that of most college campuses. The communities formed through clubs and athletics are also very unique because of the types of people you never imagined together form lasting friendships. Staff are also very supportive of student's lives and understand that many people have obligations besides academics. However, for those who are willing to put in the effort, the academic rigor is still there and driven students will never run out of challenges and resources.

The achievement gap is extremely apparent among the minority population here. As a result, Fremont has to focus most of its energy on those struggling and those who are high achieving are left to navigate through high school for themselves. Many academic clubs were not supported, and members quit over time. Fremont barely understands the depth of the work that goes into running these clubs, but the new admin is more worried about students being alone in a classroom to hold meetings. Additionally, food fundraisers (of any kind, not even healthy food) were banned which made it extremely difficult to raise money for clubs. Also, drug use is normalized among the student body. The majority of teachers would assign youtube videos and useless projects as a replacement towards teaching. Also, freedom of thought and expression isn't really encouraged, you must agree with everyone else's opinions. Fremont is making improvements, but I'd say my experience here was pretty disappointing.
Fremont High School is a school with extremely diverse demographics. Not only is the student body extremely diverse, but the campus and its facilities are also stunning. The older buildings on the campus are always being renovated. The majority of the teachers are extremely passionate and excel at creating meaningful relationships with their students. The opportunities available to Fremont students are endless.
