Great Teachers, give you the work that you can handle. Many of the Teachers offer extra help. The downside is mainly the students, there is a lot of drama at that school, but they have a strict no fighting policy that is definitely helpful.

I like how supportive the teachers try to be, even though the students don't accept the offer. I feel like, at this school, they really care about the students and want it to be a safe, happy place for students. It's a somewhat small school, a bunch of students, but the smaller it is, the easier it is to interact with teachers and get the help you need. Because it's so small, I feel like here, I was able to get more help and connect with the teachers better. We're like one big family.
My experience when I attended Fremont High School was great. My teachers were amazing and they were actually very caring and cared for students which made me be able to build a bond with them and my classmates. They helped me get back up whenever I felt like giving up which I very much appreciate because I wouldn't be in College right now without them. When I was a student there, there wasn't many resources and some situations could of been better but I didn't let that get in my way, I made it work. Being a school in Oakland, there was talk about how Fremont High is a"bad" school but that was all said from people who did not even attend the school so how would they really know. It was judged by how the outside looked and how some students looked which is wrong to do. Overall, I enjoyed my experience attending this OUSD school and I hope other students do as well.
