Freeman Academy Reviews
Rating 4.38 out of 5 26 reviews
I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Freeman Academy community. Teachers really do care immensely about students. They'll get to know you personally, and as long as you put in enough effort, they'll do everything they can to ensure that you succeed. The in-class conversations are always something to look forward to as well. I suppose that my main complaint is the lack of freedom in class selection. You either enroll in a class or take study hall in a period; there isn't much flexibility. Still, the classes you do take are excellent. I have improved my writing skills far beyond what I once thought possible, and I've found lifelong interests both inside and outside the classroom. Had I not attended Freeman Academy, I might never have become interested in running, music, and mathematics. (Those are my three favorite things in life!) If you're on the fence, here's my advice: Take the plunge and go to Freeman Academy!
Faith and the Arts! Freeman Academy is a great place not only to grow spiritually but also a great place to express creativity and have fun! Freeman Academy offers a variety of activities which makes it easy for students to fit in. Students can be involved in sports or join our oral interpretation team or one-act team. A lot of students are involved in band and perform at home games and concerts.
One of my favorite course is choir. I've been part of the high school choir and the chamber choir this year and it's been so good to learn, sing and perform with other students. I look forward to sing with the praise band in chapel soon.

Freeman Academy has been transformative. Our son, who had a hard time in several elementary years and had virtual school through junior high, has thrived here in high school. He has received the space, nurturing, and encouragement to come into his own, and he has found in FA's smaller, more intimate setting a good group of peers with whom he's established life-long friendships. We are so thankful for our experience here!
