The inclusivity and diverse atmosphere of this school was absolutely mind-blowing. If anything, I'll say it lived up to its name pretty gosh darn well. Freedom of expression is allowed and encouraged even! I was tremendously fortunate to have gotten really lovely and compassionate teachers every single year. Though one thing I noticed is that, though we are all moderately friendly toward each other and fights rarely happen, there are very tight-knit cliques. Luckily, there is a wide range of clubs- be that Star Wars Club, Film Club, Japanese Anime/Manga Club and a club where you can be part of a step team. Students here are for the most part accepting and intelligent because they're informed! That's what made attending this high school an absolute pleasure, hands down.

Freedom High School is known to have good winter athletics and my athletic experience attending Freedom High School thus far has been tremendous. The girls basketball program is absolutely fabulous and I always have a fun time going to the workouts, making incredible bonds with the girls and coaches, and playing in the overall season. However, my academic experience could have been better. At times the teaching pace would be inconsistent and overall communication between student and teacher is not as strong as it could be. Some of the teachers lacked a passion for teaching and it showed. The Music and Art programs are truly phenomenal and it is a pleasure learning from such gifted teachers. In conclusion, my overall experience with Freedom High School has been good but as I hope in the following years will become great.
My school is Freedom High School, I like Freedom High School because it is diverse school and everyone is appreciated for their past. Likewise, students continue to have resiliency with the amazing staff on their side guiding them in the right path; whether its helping a student write a college essay or helping a student get through depression. The teachers provide us with continued support preparing us for college by giving us new resources like the academic support center & career center, allowing students to watch informative videos about certain curricular topics. The school allows students to bring their own laptops or borrow their own laptop to work on online papers, classroom assignments, or to create presentations. Freedom High School is very versatile and the learning style is modern, with the spark of technology my school encompasses it all. To learning with technology to learning how to code a game classes/academics are provided to students with their own choice.
