Freedom changed how I felt about school. I hated going to school, I was miserable and I never smiled. When I came to Freedom, everything changed. Everyone, from the other kids to the staff, welcomed me with a smile. They accept you for who you are. I actually enjoyed going to school at Freedom, I didn't dread it like the last high school. You quickly become part of the community there, you never feel like an outsider. The teachers actually make time for you. If you need help on something they are happy to help. They even help you through difficult times, whether it's problems at home or a relationship. They really do care about all the students. Freedom is the school to go to when traditional public school doesn't work for you. If you're willing to work hard this is the place you need to be. You can even graduate early if you work extra hard.

Freedom High was the school I needed to graduate, having been my saving grace in junior year to come back and graduate with A's and B's. Along with the gpa and knowledge for college. Small classes with 25 students and no more than 200 students enrolled at once. Small atmosphere makes for actual one on one time with one of 14 teachers. Also six credits to get in, so no freshmen and all students have off campus lunch.
Teacher's worked with me one on one whenever I needed help to get through each year and learn what I need and was required to learn. Freedom is not only a school for those who would like to get ahead or catch up, it's filled with staff and teachers who care about each student and make sure they are guided in the right direction to success and graduation. Students are all very welcoming and it's not hard to make close friends when everyone makes you feel as though you are at home. I transferred to this school from a large public school where it was hard to get extra help and they didn't always make sure that you were on track with what we were learning. Never in a million years would I have ever thought I would have learned so much in just two years at Freedom High School. At my old school it was hard for me to enjoy being there but at Freedom being there was fun and educational, there was never a time where I wish I would rather be at home.
