I had some trouble with bullying throughout my four years at Beyer. This last year, though, we had a new Disciplinary principal. Mrs. Koozer quickly dealt with the girls picking on me and they didn’t bother me for the rest of the year. Beyer FFA Chapter is the best! Don’t let the name fool you, because you don’t have to be a farmer. You get to learn some great skills and learn a lot about CA’s Central Valley. Every teacher, with the exception of Mr. Holmes and Mr. Sullivan, is great! We get to do some great things and the Renaissance rewards are awesome!

This school will live within your best memories and your worst mistakes, but every high school is like that. Beyer has its ups and downs but you'll end up making amazing friends that you'll miss when you have to leave for college. You will end up having friendships with teachers that you thought you hated. The teachers try and push you into taking harder classes because they know you will do well. Beyer teachers will bring you to your dream school if you try hard enough. This school is evolving into the new generation as well, so you will get a laptop for all your schoolwork and no more heavy, unappealing, pesky textbooks that you have to carry class to class. This school will be your best friend and your worst enemy, but from freshman year where you get lost in the halls, to senior year where you rule the school and make fun on the freshman, you'll remember all the good and bad days you had and you'll want to stay and drink in all the memories you have there.
Many opportunities were available to me at Fred C. Beyer High School. In my four years there, I went from having only a few friends as a freshman, to being Class President and an active member on the dance team and Key Club. I was able to cultivate academic and vocational skills. I enjoyed the diversity of student body there, and felt connected in one way or another to each of my classmates. The school culture and spirit felt positive, but there is always room for improvement. Another aspect that could be improved upon is the student-to-administration relationship.
